I hate how so many people don’t give a moment’s thought to buying life insurance. Many people say that they can’t afford to buy life insurance, so they just don’t bother. Yet when I look around at their lifestyle I see them smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol and bar hopping on the weekends. And I see them eating out at restaurants once or twice a week.
I cannot imagine for one moment forgoing buying life insurance in favor of those more entertaining expenses. I think that these are incredibly selfish people. Everyone dies sooner or later, and when that happens, who is going to be paying for their funeral? Don’t they even care that they will be putting someone that loves them under a huge financial stress on top of the emotional stress of losing a loved one? How can they be that selfish? It is so easy to find inexpensive plans through websites like iselect.com.au. I don’t think that there is any excuse good enough to blow that off. Get insurance, people!
