A Dozen Flavors

by Mary Anne

I have a gift card for Starbucks and since I prefer tea and have have never tried any of their coffees, I thought I would use the gift card to try one. I just don’t have any idea which flavor to ask for.

Wii or Playstation 3?

by Mary Anne

My brothers and sisters want to pitch in and buy a nice gift for my parents. We are thinking that a game console would be a nice gift that the entire family could enjoy. So we are debating whether we should get a Wii or a Playstation 3? Which would be most suitable for a entire, large family with a variety of ages from 4 to 72?

Auto body work

by Mary Anne

My hubby was looking at my car a few days ago and declared that we need to take it to an auto body shop to have the roof repaired.  He said that they were going to have to remove the windshield and cut away part of the roof due to rusting.  He has done a lot of auto body work himself, and said he was not comfortable doing this himself; he wanted to let the experts handle this job.  We’ll be looking for one of the Collision Repair Experts companies to do the work; we’ve heard that they are the best in the business.

Embroidery

by Mary Anne

I really love the look of embroidered products. I love the colors, and the texture.  I love to run my hands across the thread.  Whenever I get the chance to buy something that has been embroidered, I try to do it.  My hubby is thinking about starting his own business and has been designing a logo for the business.  We’ve been talking about getting the logo embroidered on some promotional items like sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and tote bags.

Bought some new dog toys

by Mary Anne

I went grocery shopping yesterday and decided to buy a couple of new dog toys for our dogs.  They have squeakers in them, but are largish in size; they remind me of the stuffed animal toys I had as a kid.  Anyway, I had heard that dogs can see a few colors; they gravitate towards blue, so I bought two blue teddy bear squeaky toys.  When I got home with the groceries and had put all the food away, I gave the toys to the dogs.  What fun they have had playing with the toys!  Our big dog has pretty effectively ripped most of the stuffing out of one already in her desperate attempt to kill the squeaky part.  What a mess!  Now I wish I hadn’t bothered to vacuum yesterday!  I’m going to have to vacuum again tomorrow!
